Visnjic Awaits Final "Bond" Decision
After last week’s Bond audition, the world’s most famous Croatian actor took a couple of days off in Jelsa on the island of Hvar. – "The audition went well, I’m still waiting for the final decision" – that’s what he said to a friend that he met briefly while on vacation. As was expected, the owners holding the license for filming the movies based on Ian Fleming’s books need some time to make this important decision. That decision is even harder to make because of a fact that if this Bond film isn't well-accepted by audiences, then there may not be another Bond sequel after this one. While waiting for their decision he is resting in a hidden lagoon near Jelsa. He arrived here on Friday and will stay for two weeks, just as his acquaintance claimed. His wife, Ivana, and their two dogs are accompanying him. Of course, photographers are forbidden to go anywhere near his resting place, so this relaxing moment having coffee was our only chance to take pictures. Anyway, he sure deserves a nice break: we’re keeping our fingers crossed so that producers pick him to play Agent 007, because we know for sure he’ll do it right.
